Purchasing of Catalytic Converters

1. Mass: The amount of material in the catalytic converter.
2. Precious metal content: Platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), and rhodium (Rh) – the quantity of these metals in the catalytic converter significantly affects the price.
3. Precious metal market price: Prices fluctuate based on the global market.

For a precise evaluation, an on-site analysis is required at the Valmiera branch:

1. Bring your catalytic converter (it can be either cut out or not) to the Valmiera branch or visit our nearest collection point, where we will accept the catalytic converter and transport it to Valmiera free of charge.
2. We perform X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectral analysis to determine the precious metal content.
3. We calculate the value of the catalytic converter based on the precious metal market.
4. Payment is made after the transaction is completed, upon presentation of an identity document – on the same day.
